How and why does knowledge travel? Dr. Sheikholeslami will examine the circulation of the human sciences in Iran, which have been popular since 1979 Islamic Revolution. Based on ethnographic fieldwork in Tehran from 2012-2014, Dr. Sheikholeslami explores how translations are produced and disseminated as book-objects
